 The George Tavern also houses a unique art gallery, with monthly exhibitions and taking part in Whitechapel Art Gallery's First Thursdays. Recent exhibitions include 'She Hangs Brightly', which featured three London female artists and 'Meltdown' Owner Pauline Forster opened the gallery in 2006 with partner Toby Penrose, using the space to exhibit their joint project ‘The Recovery Room’.
